No. YachtSoft runs inside Rhino 8, which is licensed separately from McNeel. Install Rhino 8 first, then add YachtSoft to the environment you already use.
There is one trial: 30 days of YachtSoft Pro on one computer, beginning on first activation. Tell us your operating system and Rhino setup and the YachtSoft team will confirm the installer and module compatibility. After the trial, choose Designer, Pro or stop using the paid features.
No. YachtSoft is currently available as an annual licence or a perpetual licence. Monthly billing is not offered.
A perpetual licence is a one-time purchase for indefinite use of the major version supplied. It includes five years of support and updates within that major-version line. Later major versions are separate products.
Yes. A Designer-to-Pro upgrade costs the difference between the current list prices for the same licence term. YachtSoft issues a Pro key for the upgraded licence.
No. Pro includes a bill of materials, but it does not currently calculate or maintain material costing.
Yes. Eligible students receive 50% off. Contact us from your institutional email address or provide current proof of enrolment.
Studios licensing YachtSoft on 5–15 computers should contact us for volume pricing and setup. We will agree the right arrangement for the team directly.
Yes. A paid Designer or Pro licence covers two computers. If those activations are already in use, contact support so the old activation can be blocked and a replacement key issued where appropriate.
The 365-day term begins on first activation. Annual licences do not renew automatically. A renewal extends the same key by another 365 days.
Windows is the primary supported platform. macOS availability is confirmed per module, so contact us with the modules and Rhino setup you intend to use before purchasing.
